Recently, the Palas® Annual Sales Partner Meeting was successfully held in Shanghai, marking a new stage of close cooperation with core partners. At the conference, Palas® and its partners discussed how to continue to improve the quality of service through deepening cooperation and professional training, in order to meet the growing and diversified needs of customers, and to jointly draw a blueprint for future development. This conference is not only an opportunity to deepen understanding and communication but also a strategic starting point for Palas® and its partners to work together to promote service innovation and achieve win-win development.
At the beginning of the conference, Mr Michael Wolf, Managing Director of Palas® China, provided participants with an overview of the market and an outlook on the long-term development goals for the future. He emphasized that Palas® will take a series of measures to enhance the customer service experience, including strengthening product training, providing instrument rental and calibration services, and expanding the after-sales service team, to ensure that customers could receive faster and more professional support. In terms of marketing, he also emphasized the importance of partners in market promotion, encouraging partners to actively participate in campaigns, while at the same time digging deeper and sharing successful cases of product application, to jointly enhance the brand image, stimulate market vitality and attract more potential customers.
During the recognition session, Mr Michael Wolf awarded the “DEALER OF THE YEAR 2023” trophy to Link Precision Instrument in recognition of its outstanding performance in 2023. Mr Sun Mingzhe, General Manager of Link Precision Instrument, said that they will continue to work closely with Palas® to seek development and create further success.
The environmental product manager from Palas® GmbH, Mr Henrik Hof, gave an in-depth presentation on the importance of nano-particle measurement and different application scenarios, including ultrafine particles in environmental monitoring, electronic cigarettes, clean room supplier chains, radiative particle tracking, and UFP filter efficiency testing. Through these application scenarios, Mr Henrik Hof not only demonstrated the practical application and advantages of Palas® products in different fields but also emphasized how to choose the right measurement solutions according to different customer needs and shared successful strategies. These case analyses and in-depth discussions provided valuable market insights and technical support for partners, helping them better position Palas® products in the competitive market and provide higher quality instruments and services for target customers.
In addition, Mr Maximilian Uebach, Product Manager for Industry and Research at Palas® China, focused on the opportunities and development of the Palas® U-SMPS scanning mobility particle size spectrometer in Southeast Asia. As Southeast Asia becomes more industrialised and environmental issues become more prominent, there is a growing demand for ultrafine particle measurement technology. With the successful global application of SMPS and advanced technology, we will be able to meet the urgent need for nanoparticle measurement in Southeast Asia.
For the Chinese market, Palas® China’s Environmental and Automotive Product Manager, Ms. Deng Jun, emphasized that the Palas® SMPS Chinese interface was officially released on October 4, 2024, marking a further enhancement of Palas®’s in-depth service and localization support for the Chinese market. This update means that subsequent SMPS (including CPC) devices sold in the Chinese market will be equipped with a Chinese interface to better adapt to the operating habits and needs of Chinese users. In addition, to give back to existing customers, Palas® will provide a preferential Chinese interface upgrade service from November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025, during which only labor costs will be charged. At the conference, when introducing the new products and applications in the Promo series, Palas® China’s Industrial and Scientific Product Manager, Mr. Wang Xuefeng, successfully guided sales partners to think and respond in depth through an interactive approach of lecturing and questioning. This not only deepened the partners’ understanding of the advantages of Palas® products but also strengthened their ability to introduce and select products more effectively to customers.
One of the highlights of the conference was the case-sharing session, in which each partner had the opportunity to share one successful and one unsuccessful case and analyse it in depth. This open discussion not only promotes knowledge sharing, but also strengthens mutual trust and cooperation among partners.
During the hands-on sessions, partners were divided into small groups and participated in hands-on installation and commissioning sessions for SMPS and Fidas, as well as hands-on maintenance sessions for Promo. These interactive sessions gave the partners the opportunity to get hands-on, in-depth experience of the installation and maintenance processes of Palas® products, thus significantly enhancing their practical skills. Palas® application and service engineers were on hand to provide detailed guidance, especially on the maintenance process for Promo equipment, including key steps such as lens cleaning, fibre testing and calibration. The Palas® team observed and provided guidance from the sidelines to ensure that each partner had the correct operating techniques. This hands-on approach not only enhanced the partners’ understanding of the maintenance details of the product, but also ensured that they would be able to install and maintain the equipment more independently and efficiently in their future jobs. Through these hands-on courses, Palas® demonstrated the importance it places on the professional growth of its partners, and at the same time strengthened the partners’ confidence in and satisfaction with Palas® products, laying a solid foundation for long-term co-operation between the two parties.
The successful holding of the conference not only strengthened the connection between Palas® and partners but also provided a platform for both parties to learn and accumulate experience together, laying a solid foundation for future development. Palas® recognized the efforts and contributions of each partner and awarded them with certificates of honor. Palas® will continue to move forward hand in hand with partners, through continuous product innovation and professional services, to provide customers with higher quality solutions and jointly create a more brilliant future.
