Nonwoven filter testing to safeguard daily needs
In recent years, the production of nonwoven materials in Asia has grown rapidly. The market size has expanded, and the epidemic has created further demand for filter media. As a platform for technical exchange and business negotiations, ANEX covers the entire nonwoven materials industry chain for R&D, production, purchasing and management personnel.
With the recurrence of the pandemic, people have become inseparable from the protection of masks in their daily lives. As the core material of a high-quality mask, melt-blown nonwovens are attracting public attention. As a result, higher demands are placed on their filtration performance. Palas®, the expert of filtration efficiency testing, responded positively by bringing a range of products and equipment to the show to discuss emerging technologies with industry experts.
Palas® Advanced Technology Supports Filter Media Efficiency Testing
During the exhibitor technical presentations, Palas® shared the knowledge on testing standards for nonwoven materials to a large audience.
In the afternoon of July 22nd, Linus Wang, Sales Manager of Palas®, gave a keynote speech. The topic is “ISO 29463-3 and ISO 16890 filter media testing solutions – Palas® MFP Series Filter Tester”. In his presentation, Linus highlighted the superior performance and reliable test results of the Palas® instruments. With data attached, Linus introduced the accurate measurement performance of the Palas® MFP 3000 G filtration media tester and the Palas® MFP Nano plus 4000 filtration media tester under ISO 29463-3 and ISO 16890 standards. He also explained in depth how Palas® provides strong technical support for the field of filtration media testing in China and abroad.
With the MFP 3000 G the user benefits from a high-performance and flexible solution for measurement of fractional separation efficiency and dust loading in high and low Aerosol concentrations. The pre-programmed measurement routines with defined test parameters allow producible international comparison of test results. Palas® MFP 4000 has two Promo® aerosol spectrometers for concurrent determination of separation efficiency. The MFP 4000 had an integrated mass flow controller for volume flow control.
