Country Product Manager – Industry & Science
Job Description
The Country Product Manager – Industry & Science will be responsible for developing the strategy and managing all aspects of Product Management which incl. Marketing Communications. Strategic relationships with key accounts & associations within Greater China & Asia and based on Filter Media & Filter Element Manufacturers and Research Institutes.
This role is based in Shanghai that serves the Mainland China & Asia. He or She will report directly to Managing Director of Palas Shanghai with close work relation with global product managers at Headquarters in Germany. Intense travelling is a must with excellent English knowledge in speaking & writing.

Main Responsibilities
Responsible for Incoming Order within defined Business Division Industry & Science.
Cooperate closely with global product manager at Headquarters Germany and marketing team to develop the business by attending actively association meetings and exhibitions. Strategy planning is a must.
Being the technical Expert within own Product Range and share those knowledge actively.
Establish and carry out Marketing Communication Plan, based on local needs and Headquarter cooperation as well close cooperation with Sales & Sales Partner Team.
Identify and summarize applications for related products, establish related sales documents and plan product and technical training to Sales, Sales Partners and Endusers
Manage all New Product Market launches and ensure Mainland China and/or Asia related certifications.
Representation of national interests when new products are designed
Monitoring the market and, if necessary, influencing relevant national guidelines (lobbying).
Setting of national list prices
• Proven results in Filter supply industry and / or governmental authorities.
• Study within Aerosol Technology is preferred from well-known University and/or Institute.
• Good product marketing development concept in related industry
• Min. Bachelor degree – MBA preferred.
• Above 12 years product marketing of technical products experience – Industry & Science related product penetration experience is preferred.
• Superior level of English language skills in speaking & writing.
• Excellent presentation skills and personal appearance.
• Familiar with CRM system/concept and be proficient in computer software (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Willingness to travel as needed to support product promotion and technical issue, travel to HQ in Germany as required.
