From September 7th to 9th, 2022, China International Metrology Measurement Technology and Equipment Exhibition was successfully held in Nanjing International Exhibition Center. German aerosol technology expert Palas®, together with experts and scholars from different fields such as measurement industry research institutes, laboratories, electric power, environment, and industrial measurement, gathered in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province to contribute to the high-quality development of the measurement and testing industry. Palas® displayed SMPS scanning electromobility particle size spectrometer, Promo® series aerosol spectrometer, and new RBG aerosol generator on the spot, attracting many professionals to communicate and discuss.
Palas® products can meet JJF 1562-2016 “Condensation Nucleus Particle Counter Calibration Specification”, JJF 1800-2020 “Aerosol Photometer Calibration Specification”, ISO 15900:2009 “Differential Electromigration Method for Measurement of Aerosol Particle Size Distribution”, JF 1864-2020 “Calibration Specification for Aerosol Particle Size Spectrometer” and other relevant specifications to assist measurement and testing experts to complete the calibration of particle testing equipment. Palas® SMPS scanning electromobility particle size spectrometer has been used to calibrate and test the respiratory protection filtration efficiency tester by Metrology Institute, which has attracted the attention of many testing institutions in the field. The application process and the feasibility of more applications were discussed together.
Both micrometer and nanometer can be measured. Palas® Single Particle Light Scattering in combination with Scanning Electron Mobility provides research institutions with a solution for measuring micro and nano particles. For a variety of aerosol characterization and verification needs of scientific research, Palas® can provide real-time aerosol characterization equipment based on the particle size range of 4nm~1200nm or 0.2μm~100μm to meet the different types of testing needs of researchers for aerosol particle size distribution, number concentration and mass concentration, and help aerosol research.
Palas® Aerosol Monitoring Devices include:
· Aerosol generator: salt, oil, dust aerosol generator (PLG, AGK, RBG and other series)
· Aerosol particle size spectrometer: particle size analysis of 4nm~100µm (Promo, SMPS series)
· Environmental aerosol/particulate matter monitoring system: simultaneous real-time measurement of multiple PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10 values, particle number concentration and particle size distribution (Fidas, AQ Guard series)
· Filter material/filter media test system: filter media test rig (PMFT, MFP series) that meets various standards
Palas® new dust generator RBG has attracted many on-site professionals. The new RBG has the advantages of stability, ease of use, pressure resistance and portability. For mass flow rates from 40 mg/h to 800 g/h, the three new aerosol generators RBG Professional, RBG basic and RBG solo meet the requirements from research to quality assurance and calibration for a wide range of applications in filter testing, Research and development of filters and filter media, calibration of measuring equipment, particle image velocity measurement, respiratory exposure testing, mask filtration testing, etc.
With this professional metrology industry communication platform, Palas® not only showed industry professionals a variety of solutions for aerosol generation, measurement, and analysis, but also gained a lot of product application directions. With professional aerosol measurement technology, Palas® looks forward to contributing to the development of the metrology and testing industry in the future.
