First Palas® Marcom Day: Better Tools to Penetrate the Markets with Partners

Palas®, the expert for aerosol technology, provides the Greater China Market & Asia with advanced measurement solutions to precisely identify particles in the inner-outer ambient air. To further serve the industries, Palas® held its first MarCom Day on January 13 in Shanghai, China. Despite the ongoing fight of COVID Pandemic measures, 8 onsite and over 25 online participants from Greater China Region Sales- and Service Partner joined this Day, which was held for the first time ever.

Michael Wolf, Managing Director of Palas® Greater China kicked off the event with his welcome speech. He highlighted the success of the company last year on the one hand, while also pointing out the importance of even faster improvement and strengthening of Marketing Communication within each Partner organization to penetrate better and more measurable each Target Group and Region. “Join the ride” he called up to the Partner Companies by reaching set Palas® 2022 Vision and Mission. A strong statement has been given by identifying the will that Palas® stands for a “Worldwide recognized Leader by representing carrying & reliable technology within Aerosol and Particle measurement solutions. The Mission is inherent to offer Solutions on best practice and fair partnership“, recalled Michael Wolf.


His statement was backed by Joyce Jiang, Marketing Communication Manager at Palas®. In her presentation, she gave insights into the Palas® goals 2021 the achievements but more importantly how to reach Targets based on set KPIs by 2022. After here review, Joyce introduced Palas® Marketing Plan 2022 and led the following discussion with the participants.

Multi-channel Marketing in focus

To better serve the Customers, in addition to its advanced technology by Palas®, the company has a clear focus on multi-channel marketing. “We want to understand our customers better, and we want to make it easier for them to communicate with us and benefit more from our services. We are solutions-driven. Therefore, we further develop our traditional marketing and digital marketing approach,” explains Joyce Jiang the strategy for 2022.  Palas® will stronger align its offline presence on trade shows and conferences with social media, by additionally investing in e-commerce with low value & “plugin” devices.

Committed to a Healthy China in 2022

Linus Wang, Sales Unit Manager Industry & Science at Palas® China, was explaining the Palas® 2022 Filter marketing campaign plan to the audience. An important part of Palas®’ efforts in Greater China is to show, how the patented light scattering particle measurement technology of Palas® can help in the pandemic. Different types of filtration efficiency and particle measurement equipment of Palas® can be applied here. Also, the light scattering spectrometer is a highly reliable tool in rapidly screening super spreaders.

Linus Wang’s presentation was followed by an introduction of the Palas® 2022 Immission marketing campaign plan as an example of a practical market approach. As an expert of aerosol & particle monitoring and characterization, Palas® will highlight not only its accurate monitoring technology within the Air Quality Market but its worry-free conception to end users – from sales to installation & maintenance by professional After-Sales experts.

The German technology helps laboratories, research institutes, universities, and enterprises in their efforts to monitor the inside & outside ambient air.

Palas® – a success story also in 2022

As guest speakers of the conference Dr. Stefan Justl and Miaotian Peng from the Communication Agency Storymaker talked about the importance of the Core Story as part of strategic storytelling. “We bring high-quality, highly dependable technology to monitor and analyze the ambient air to the Greater China & Asia market. It is important for us to tell this story to our customers while Palas® is represented by our own 100% subsidiary only since mid of 2019” says Michael Wolf. “With our first Marcom Day in Shanghai, we do another step to improve our communications”.


The official part of the first Palas® Marcom Day finished in Group discussions and sharing of experiences and ideas. “Together with our excellent team and partners, Palas® will further strengthen its presence. We will continue to develop our services and solution and keep on building our reputation as a reliable expert in the aerosol industry,” Michael Wolf resumed the successful day before heading to the joint dinner with his team and onsite participants.
