Job Description

The Key Account Manager High Involvement within Industry & Science – will be responsible for developing top potentials within Mainland China & Asia. He or She will be engaged in the journey of endusers from naming company names (to finding contacts) to develop needs and finally deliver Palas solution and observe Installation & Commissioning. The defined market segment will be filter media & filter element manufactories as well Universities & Institutes focusing on research.

This role is based in Shanghai that serves the Mainland China & Asia. He or She will report directly to Sales Manager of Palas Shanghai with close work relation with global product managers at Headquarters in Germany. Intense travelling is a must with excellent English knowledge in speaking & writing.

Main Responsibilities

Responsible for Turnover as per yearly target while create market needs and reaching Endusers Project towards the Gates of Key Account processing.

Cooperate with global product manager and marketing team to develop the business by attending actively association meetings and exhibitions. Strategy planning ahead is a must.

Establish related sales & marketing documents, carry out installation & commissioning including documentation.

Establishing and maintaining good long term relationship with Top potential endusers. These relationships must include members of the final Users within Research/Quality Assurance and/or Production as well C-level means decision makers and purchase department.

Technical expert on own Palas product but also on filter industry technology & trends.

Monitoring the market and, if necessary, influencing relevant national guidelines (lobbying)

• Proven results in filter media & filter element manufactories industry.

• Min. Bachelor degree – MBA preferred.

• Above 12 years sales of solution oriented systems.

• Superior level of English language skills in speaking & writing.

• Excellent presentation skills and personal appearance.

• Familiar with CRM system/concept and be proficient in computer software (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Willingness to travel as needed to support product promotion and technical issue, travel to HQ in Germany as required.
