Are you interested in solutions for the measurement of ultrafine particulate matter?
Do you know how to accomplish online monitoring of nanometer to micron particles?
Are you interested in cutting-edge European application examples for ultrafine particulate matter?
The Palas® roadshows held last week brought you their answers.
In the summer month of July, the roadshows on ultrafine particulate matter measurement solutions organized by the German particulate matter measurement expert Palas® was hotly held in three cities of Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou and came to a successful conclusion. It brought together the industry intelligence and experience of particle measurement experts from Palas®’s German headquarters and Chinese company and attracted many customers and partners to actively discussed the advanced technologies and applications in the field of particle monitoring.
In theroadshows, Palas® Country Product Manager – Environmental & Automotive, Ms. Jun Deng, and Mr. Henrik Hof, Global Environmental Product Manager of Palas® Germany, brought a series of presentations to the attendees. At the beginning of the conference, Ms. Deng focused on advanced atmospheric monitoring technology. She first introduced the application of modern light scattering technology in monitoring PM1.0, PM2.5 and PM10. Then shifted to the flagship product, Palas® Fidas® 200 Smart Continuous Ambient Air Particulate Matter Automatic Monitoring System, while Mr. Henrik Hof elaborated on the competitive scenarios in the market. Mr. Henrik Hof presented the advantages of Palas® Fidas®; he showed the audience a compact, online, hassle-free solution from ultrafine to total suspended particulate matter, including the economical solution of the AQ Guard smart series (1200 and 2000). In terms of Palas®’s unique calibration technology, he focused on how users can ensure the accuracy of their instruments. This technology achieved independent calibration without relying on third-party organizations.
Ultrafine Particle Measurement as an important part of the ambient air or aerosol measurement solution was also explained and discussed in depth in this session. Mr. Henrik Hof elaborated on the competence of the Palas® SMPS Scanning Electrical Mobility Particle Sizing Spectrometer (SEMPS) technology. This section focused on applications where special measurements are made in the ambient air such as superstations. These special measurements are crucial for understanding the sources and effects of tiny particles in the atmosphere. Besides, for industrial applications of ultrafine particles, Mr. Xuefeng Wang, Industrial and University Research Sales Manager of Palas® China, introduced the applications of classification efficiency and most permeable particle size determination, such as the HEPA/UHPA filter efficiency test bench. They brought solutions for the testing of filtration efficiency.
In addition to the expert sharing information, the roadshow also set up a 1-to-1 operation training session. The Palas® SMPS product operation training for industrial customers was hosted by Mr. Yifang Jie, Industrial and University Market Manager of Palas® China. During the training, the experts not only imparted technical knowledge, but also shared a series of application cases and operation tips. Their instruction helped participants better meet the challenges in actual monitoring. The whole training session was full of vitality. Participants asked questions and experts would answer them immediately. Such Q&A interaction brought a rare opportunity for participants to learn and exchange information, and also provided more experience and support for future practical applications.
The roadshows contained bilingual presentations and hands-on experience, providing participants with in-depth communication and learning opportunities. This enabled each attendee to gain a more comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Palas®’s particulate matter monitoring solutions. Palas® experts fully demonstrated the technology and application of particulate matter measurement through presentations and hands-on training, no matter in the field of atmospheric monitoring or indoor aerosol monitoring.
If you missed the roadshows, please do not worry. Palas® webinars in the second half of the year will be held soon, please pay attention to Palas® Instruments WeChat posts for more information. We are looking forward to your participation in the future!
