Palas® at SGS IBR’s First Filtration Technology Seminar

The first Filtration Technology Seminar organized by SGS IBR was successfully held in Suzhou on August 13-14, 2023. The seminar was highly recognized by customers from all major industries and the meeting was a great success! As an expert in aerosol technology, Palas® was honored to be invited to participate in the conference, and strengthened the in-depth cooperation with SGS IBR by displaying advanced particle measurement instruments and sharing theme speech to jointly promote green innovation in the filtration industry.

The seminar invited a number of domestic and foreign experts, scholars and engineers and technicians, etc. to make theme speeches, focusing on the topics of cutting-edge technology of filtration materials, air filter testing, aerosol measurement, filtration performance testing, chemical molecule filter testing, filtration and separation technology, and the impact of indoor air quality on medical treatment and lifestyle, and other topics. Academic exchanges were conducted with more than 100 corporate customers on the forefront and hot issues in the field of filtration, helped the participants to know the latest development of filtration mediums, filtration technology and test standards, etc., and promoted the development of filtration industrial technology together.

As one of the highlights of the seminar, Mr. Wang Xuefeng, Sales Manager of Industrial and Science of Palas® China, delivered a theme speech focusing on “Filtration performance testing Solutions for HEPA&/ULPA Filters elements and Filter media” and shared in depth the innovative applications and solutions of Palas® HEPA/ULPA filter performance test rigs, presenting new trends and developing technologies to the participants. It is worth noting that many experts also shared the application cases of Palas® instruments in the industry in detail in their speeches, and highly praised and affirmed its testing accuracy, instrument stability and multi-functional industry applications.

At the end of the full-day seminar, participants were invited to visit the SGS Suzhou Filtration Laboratory to gain a more comprehensive understanding of SGS’s testing capabilities. Palas® meets the requirements of domestic, EU and US filtration performance standards in terms of measurement accuracy. The instrument demonstrates reliable measurement stability, especially in upstream and downstream testing of filters and materials, with good stability of measured particulate concentrations.
