Palas® Fidas® 200 Smart Receives Test Report from China National Environmental Monitoring Centre

Palas® Fidas® 200 Smart continuous automatic monitoring system for ambient air particles, with its advanced technical performance and stability, has successfully passed the strict test of China National Environmental Monitoring Centre, and obtained the test report issued by the quality control office of the station. This achievement marks high recognition of Palas® in the field of environmental monitoring.



Multiple rigorous tests to ensure monitoring quality

The Quality Control Office of China National Environmental Monitoring Center conducted a rigorous reference method comparison test of the Palas® Fidas® 200 Smart (in manual samplers) in accordance with HJ 653-2021. The PM2.5 automated monitoring system underwent four required regulatory comparisons in Beijing and Shenzhen during the summer season. The PM10 automated monitoring system underwent two regulatory comparisons in the same regions. Additionally, the Quality Control Office comprehensively monitored the performance of the instrument, including parameters such as parallel valid data rate, measurement range, minimum display unit, detection limit, and flow test. These test data prove the stable operation under various conditions, acting as reliable support for environmental management.

Light scattering instrument compliant to HJ653-2021 — Palas® Fidas® 200 Smart ambient air quality continuous monitoring system

The Fidas® series of aerosol spectrometers for single particle size distribution from Palas® are based on optical scattered light measurement on single particles, which has been protected by several patents. It is based on the patented T-aperture technique, which generates a T-shaped three-dimensional measurement volume that effectively identifies border zone errors and compensates coincident readings. The Fidas® 200 series uses a white light source for better durability and low maintenance for cost effectiveness.
