In December 2024, Palas® actively participated in two high-profile filtration industry events: the 3rd SGS IBR Filtration Technology Seminar and the 10th Filtration & Separation Asia Exhibition (FSA2024). On these two platforms, Palas® demonstrated its innovative technology and professional solutions for filtration testing, further consolidating its important position in the filtration industry.
The 3rd SGS IBR Filtration Technology Seminar: A technology exchange event
On December 10th, 2024, Palas® participated in the “Clean Air, Filter the Future – The 3rd SGS IBR Filtration Technology Seminar” organized by SGS in Shanghai. The seminar attracted experts and representatives from the microelectronics and semiconductor industries, filtration material manufacturing, industrial filter production, ventilation filter manufacturing, and compressed air sectors. Mr. Maximilian Uebach, Product Manager of Palas® China, gave a speech focusing on “Detection of fractional efficiency for flat sheet media at high pressure according to ISO 12500”, sharing how to ensure the accuracy and stability of the test results when designing the DFP filtration performance test system, and the convenience that the Palas® test rig provides for the testing of filters under actual conditions.
Palas®‘s presentation not only demonstrated its professional testing capabilities in the field of compressed air filters, oil filters of air compressors and natural gas filters, but also explained to the attendees the challenges of performance testing and the advantages of Palas®‘s test rigs. Through the experts’ sharing, the participants gained a deeper understanding of the current status and future trends of filtration technology, as well as provided new ideas for the industry’s innovative development.
The 10th Filtration & Separation Asia Exhibition (FSA2024): Innovative products showcase
Following the success of the seminar, Palas® participated in the 10th Asian Filtration & Separation Exhibition on December 11-13, 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Mr. Ingo Wirth, Managing Director of Palas® China, was present to guide, and with the Palas® team at Booth G12, focused on the promotion of the filter filtration performance testing solutions, the FET system and the LFT systems. These systems provide customized testing according to a wide range of standards covering HVAC (ISO 16890, ASHRAE 52.2), Automotive (ISO 11155, ISO 5011) and High Efficiency Filtration (ISO 29463-4/-5, EN 1822-4/-5).
In addition, Mr. Xuefeng Wang, Industry & Science Sales Manager of Palas® China, gave a speech entitled “PALAS – Your Partner for Customized Filtration Performance Testing System”. The Palas® FET series filter performance test system enables users to accurately test the filtration performance of air filters. The system is equipped with nano-particle measurement equipment scanning electromobility particle size spectrometer U-SMPS series or single particle light scattering Particle size spectrometer Promo® series as measuring equipment. Help users perform fractional efficiency tests in the range of 0.02μm – 40μm according to high efficiency filters, cabin air conditioning filters, HVAC filters or other standards and test conditions. At the same time, Palas® still offers the DFP 3000 test system for air compressor oil filtration performance under high temperature and pressure conditions and the HMT 1000 test system for crankcase ventilation oil mist separator filtration performance under high temperature conditions.
