Invitation | Palas® invites you to attend the 23rd China International Environmental Protection Exhibition and Conference

Palas® will participate in the 23rd China International Environmental Protection Exhibition and Conference from April 10 to 12, 2025 at the China International Exhibition Center. At that time, Palas® will focus on promoting Fidas® 200 Smart Ambient Air Quality Continuous Monitoring System, AQ Guard Smart Grid Monitor for Ambient Air Quality, SMPS Scanning Mobility Particle Size Spectrometer. Palas® will be looking forward to your arrival at Booth 8B505.

Product Introduction

Light scattering instrument compliant to HJ653-2021 Palas® Fidas® 200 Smart ambient air quality continuous monitoring system

The Fidas® series of aerosol spectrometers for single particle size distribution from Palas® are based on optical scattered light measurement on single particles, which has been protected by several patents. It is based on the patented T-aperture technique, which generates a T-shaped three-dimensional measurement volume that effectively identifies border zone errors and compensates coincident readings. The Fidas® 200 series uses a white light source for better durability and low maintenance for cost effectiveness.

Advantages

    • Based on the principle of optical particle size spectrum, one instrument simultaneously monitors up to 5 PM values of PM1, PM2.5, and PM10
    • Maintenance once every 3 months, nearly 0 consumables
  • Refresh data in seconds, suitable for mobile monitoring, drone monitoring, help particulate matter traceability

Applications

    • Compliance monitoring in monitoring networks
    • Particle characterization scientific research
  • Mobile navigation monitoring
  • Particulate matter dispersion studies (e.g., fires, volcanoes)

Grid Monitor for Ambient Air Quality Palas® AQ Guard Smart

AQ Guard Smart is a robust aerosol spectrometer for ambient air that is easy to install and requires no consumables.

Advantages

  • AQ Guard Smart 1X00 Series:
    • Based on the Fidas® 200, which has passed the EN 16450 standard, it measures ambient air particles PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, TSP, CN, particle size distribution, using the principle of scattered light measurement of single particles.
    • Optional gas sensors SO2, CO, NO2, O3, CO2 (NDIR sensor) to assist in particulate source analysis
  • AQ Guard Smart 2000 for measuring ultrafine particles in ambient air:
    • CN: 1,000 – 1,000,000 particles/cm3, particle diameter 0.01 – 1μm
    • Mean Diameter X50, LDSA (Lung Deposition Surface Area)

Applications

  • Industry:
    • Production processes
    • Bulk material handling (mixing, discharge, storage, packaging, etc.)
    • Fence line Monitoring
  • Construction sites: roads, railroads, demolition sites
  • Buildings: schools, kindergartens, hospitals, hotels, offices, public service buildings
  • Residential buildings near construction sites or other polluted areas
  • Public transportation: airports, train stations, tramway & underground stations, cruise ships, passenger cabin, e.g. in tram, train

SMPS Universal Scanning Mobility Particle Sizer

The Palas® SMPS, is an advanced nanoparticle measuring system that measures aerosol particle size distributions from 4nm to 1200nm. It provides not only accurate and reliable particle size analysis and counts but also ensures high resolution in up to 256 size channels. The SMPS series offers a wide range of benefits for aerosol analysis at different concentrations and particle size distributions. For example, it can flexibly integrate with various pre-treatment devices (e.g., dilution device). Its easy-to-use touchscreen enables intuitive operation. With its open data file, it is convenient to access and analyze data for self-testing and calibration. In addition, the device is extremely flexible and compatible with mainstream counters.

Advantages

  • Particle size distributions from 4 nm to 1,200 nm
  • Continuous and fast-scanning principle of measurement
  • High resolution in up to 256 size classes (128 size classes/decade)
  • Suitable for concentrations of up to108 particles/cm3
  • Control unit accepts DMAs and counters from different well-known manufactures
  • Graphic display of measurement values
  • User-friendly 7” touchscreen with GUI
  • Integrated data logger with high storage volume
  • Supports multiple interfaces and remote access
  • Low maintenance and operating costs
  • Reliable functions
