Palas® 2026 Sales Partner meeting Successfully Concludes, Charting New Development Blueprint

From January 20 to 22, 2026, the Palas® Sales Partner meeting was successfully held in Shanghai. The event brought together core partners from China and Southeast Asia to engage in in-depth discussions on annual market strategies, intelligent environmental monitoring solutions, and innovative applications in industrial scenarios, collectively exploring market opportunities and developments in particle measurement technology.

At the opening of the conference, Mr. Ingo Wirth, Managing Director of Palas® China, extended a warm welcome to the attendees, emphasizing that the conference aimed to strengthen collaboration and jointly explore market opportunities. In his address, he highlighted that the company’s environmental monitoring products are expected to complete CCEP certification in the first half of 2026, further expanding their application in the environmental monitoring sector. To better meet localization needs, Mr. Wirth also introduced plans for the localized production of core environmental monitoring products, including the Fidas and AQ Guard Smart series, as well as filtration performance testing systems. In addition, Palas® continues to enhance its service system, providing partners with more efficient technical support.

Focus on Environmental Monitoring: CCEP Certification Drives Market Expansion

In the field of environmental monitoring, Ms. Jun Deng, Environment and Automotive Product Manager of Palas® China, detailed the latest progress of CCEP certification. With the revision of GB3095 incorporating the light scattering method and the refinement of HJ653 regulations, Palas®’s Fidas 200 Smart and AQ Guard Smart series, based on Single Particle Aerosol Distribution Spectrometer (SPADS) technology, have completed systematic comparative testing at the China National Environmental Monitoring Center and multiple local environmental monitoring centers. The instruments demonstrated stable performance and strong data consistency in monitoring PM2.5 and PM10, and the CCEP certification process is progressing steadily. Compared to traditional beta-ray monitoring equipment, this optical technology solution offers advantages in terms of lifecycle costs, providing users with a more economically efficient long-term monitoring option.

Additionally, the conference showcased the mature application of the CDA Cloud Droplet Analyzer in meteorological observation and scientific research. The device can simultaneously measure key parameters such as aerosol particle size distribution, liquid water content, and particle number concentration. It has been widely adopted in meteorological observation stations, research institutions, and polar research projects, providing reliable data support for weather analysis and climate research.

Exploring Industrial Applications: Innovative Solutions Empower Industry Upgrading

In the industrial sector, Mr. Xuefeng Wang, Industry & Science Sales Manager of Palas® China, focused on the application of particle measurement technology in high-pressure flammable and explosive gas environments, covering safety monitoring needs in scenarios such as natural gas transmission, hydrogen production, and blast furnace gas. For the new energy battery manufacturing field, the conference conducted an in-depth analysis of particle monitoring technology pathways for key processes such as cutting and welding, comparing the applicability of different measurement methods.

Furthermore, Mr. Maximilian Uebach, Product Manager Industry & Science at Palas®, highlighted the DustView II dust measurement device during the conference. The instrument is a fully automated system for characterization and comparison of the dust formation of powders and bulk materials. It enables rapid and precise measurement of even the smallest fractions of dust generated following free fall and impact. Using the DustView II, the individual dust formation behavior can be determined quickly and reproducibly so that the application of the system, especially in the quality assurance of powders, is outstandingly valuable. The product has accumulated extensive application cases across multiple industries overseas and holds significant potential in the domestic market. Palas® looks forward to collaborating with partners to explore market demand.

Industry Experience Sharing and FAQ Session

The conference featured a dedicated partner case-sharing session, where multiple partners shared their project experiences in their respective specialized industries. They discussed the technical advantages of the selected products in successful implementations and exchanged insights on specific challenges encountered. The Palas® technical team responded on-site, jointly exploring solutions.

During the on-site FAQ session, Ms. Huimin Ge, Palas® Service Engineer, systematically addressed FAQ issues in instrument usage. Based on pre-collected feedback, she provided targeted operational advice and support solutions, helping partners enhance their on-site service capabilities.

Greetings from German Headquarters: Together Towards the Future

At the close of the conference, Mr. Frederik Weis, Managing Director of Palas® GmbH, shared a heartfelt video message with Chinese subtitles for all attendees. In his address, he expressed full recognition of the strategic importance and promising growth prospects of the Chinese and Southeast Asian markets. Mr. Weis reiterated the headquarters’ commitment to providing continuous technical and resource support to regional operations, ensuring partners receive strong backing in meeting diverse and customized project requirements.

Through strategic alignment, technical discussions, and application experience sharing, this conference further strengthened the collaborative ties between Palas® and its partners. Looking ahead, all parties will continue to work hand in hand, leveraging innovative technologies and localized services to deepen market engagement and jointly advance the value of particle measurement technology in environmental protection and industrial upgrading.
