Thanks to the use of the test rig PMFT 1000 Ulife Biotechnolgy Co., Ltd. could test the filtration efficiency of its coronavirus respiratory masks accurately, thus enhanced the overall quality and finally received the certification of Medical Devices and Supplies Companies. The company now meets highest standards for anti-epidemic medical supplies and is able to put its high-quality face masks into use at home and abroad and so helping to stop spreading the Corona virus.
German technology, Chinese attitude
In the face of Covid-19 and urgent safety and protection requirements at home and abroad, Ulife actively seeks for effective testing methods and devices to ensure its masks can meet international standards. At this time the name Palas® quickly came into play. The distribution partner of Palas®, A&P Instruments informed Ulife about the German’s world-class mask safety testing technology which meets European standards, and also arranged a first meeting, which was the start of a success story. Ulife knew to have found the right partner. “We were not only impressed by the German engineering, the outstanding accuracy of the PMFT 1000 test rig”, the Head of the Technical Department of Ulife said. “We also very much appreciated the open, honest and very clear communication with the experts from Palas®. They really understood our challenges developed individual solutions that were perfect for us”. Another important factor for Ulife was the local expertise and support. During the use of the product, Palas will ensure timely communication and service to ensure that the product fully meets the requirements of customer.
Accurate analysis to exceed the standard
Compared with other manufacturers’ test rigs, a unique advantage of the Palas® PMFT 1000 is its accurate reproduction of each particle size classification. It can accurately analyze coronaviruses (size approximately 120 nm to 160 nm) filter and filter mask efficiency in the size range of 100nm to 180nm. After Ulife started testing their masks with the PMFT 1000, the quality of the face masks can then consistently meet EU standards.
A generous and well tested gift
In August, Ulife donated 20,000 face masks to Talcahuano in Chile, which is the twin town of Suzhou. The masks were distributed to the local community medical service centers and the local people. The face masks tested with the PMFT 1000 contribute to the daily protection of the people.
Overall, Ulife is highly satisfied with the cooperation with Palas® and will continue to rely on the German technology and the local expertise the company offers in China to continuously provide the market with high-standard masks in an efficient and professional way.
