When in 1983 Leander Mölter founded Palas® together with his brother Wolfgang Mölter and Fritz Munzinger, they became the leading pioneers in the field of particle measurement. The passionate engineers focused on research and product development, with the aim to bring innovations to market.
Today, with over 70 patent applications worldwide, Palas® is a global market leader in its field. From its headquarters in Germany, Palas® exports its outstanding filter test systems and optical aerosol spectrometers worldwide. To better serve the important Chinese and Asian market, the company opened its first office in Shanghai this year.
From Shanghai into Asia
Palas® Asia Limited set up its first subsidiary in Shanghai for the Greater China Market. Michael Wolf, who acted as the driving force behind the expansion into Asia, heads both the offices in Shanghai and Hongkong. Having lived and worked for over two decades in Greater China, Michael is an expert on the Asian markets. Under his leadership, Palas® products and services will maintain its consistently reliable German quality.

For example, the PMFT series mask test rig can meet EN149, GB2626, ASTM2299-3 and ASTM2100 standards and provide strong support for our users’ export business. In terms of environmental protection, we also comply with a number of environmental protection industry standards.
