Since its founding in 1983, Palas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> has been dedicated to the generation, processing, measurement, and analysis of aerosol particles. During the interview, Ms. Deng highlighted how Palas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> products combine high optical resolution with low power consumption (operating at a level comparable to an incandescent bulb) to meet China\u2019s increasingly stringent PM<sub>2.5<\/sub> and PM<sub>10<\/sub> monitoring accuracy requirements while helping reduce carbon emissions at the monitoring source. Based on optical light scattering at single particles, this instrument is specifically designed to measure the size distribution and number concentration of cloud aerosols (such as droplets and ice crystals). It offers two measuring ranges (0.6\u201340\u00b5m and 0.8\u2013100\u00b5m) and outputs parameters including particle size distribution, number concentration (PN), liquid water content, and mean volume equivalent diameter.
