This joint initiative between Palas\u00ae<\/sup>, T\u00dcV NORD\u00a0and BASF is supported by\u00a0the Federal Ministry of Health of the Federal Republic of Germany. The goal is to procure masks from China for the medical and non-medical use, and to ensure the safety of masks in an efficient and professional way.<\/p>\n

Specially developed for coronavirus mask filtration<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

The new mask testing lab is equipped with the world-class mask testing equipment,\u00a0Palas\u00ae <\/sup>PMFT 1000. The lab is part of BASF\u2019s \u201cHelping Hands\u201d campaign.\u00a0The PMFT 1000 is produced at Palas\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0headquarters in Karlsruhe, it is a new product developed specifically to test the filtration efficiency of coronavirus respiratory masks.<\/p>\n

Exact analysis of filter mask efficiency<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Compared with other manufacturers\u2019 test rigs, a unique advantage of Palas\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0PMFT 1000 is its accurate reproduction of each particle size classification, which can accurately analyze the coronavirus (size approximately 120 nm to 160 nm) filter and filter mask efficiency.<\/p>\n
