The Palas\u00ae Promo\u00ae 3000 aerosol particle sizer is equipped with a pressure and heating module (up to: \u2264 250\u00b0C, \u2264 10 bar). It can ensure data sampling under isobaric and isothermal conditions, avoiding the influence of pressure or temperature changes of the sample gas on the aerosol particle size distribution. The independent sensor design is connected to the control unit through optical fiber, which makes the monitoring of aerosols more flexible and convenient. Compared with similar instruments, the stable and reliable performance of the Promo\u00ae 3000 meets the scientific research needs of the research team of the School of Mechanical Engineering. So far, the research team has used the Palas\u00ae instrument for many years. With its accurate monitoring results and user-friendly application, the systems from Palas\u00ae strongly supports the research project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Advanced technology for research programs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Promo\u00ae 3000 aerosol particle size spectrometer is characterized by its low background counting, accurate particle size measurement (within +\/-5% of particle size measurement error), wide particle size measurement range 0.2um~100um, and good count repeat (typically less than 0.5%). It has won the trust of the research team of the School of Mechanical Engineering and became the instrument of choice for a very long time.<\/p>\n<p><em>Example with 2200 sensor<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Promo\u00ae has a new, fast 20 MHz signal processing processor, which analyses the interference of each particle. This makes it possible to recognize coincidental events based on the scattered light signal, i.e. more than one particle in the measurement volume at one time can be identified from the individual signal and corrected. Therefore, the maximum concentration limit can be increased by up to 10<sup>6 <\/sup>p\/cm<sup>3<\/sup> (with the welas\u00ae 2070 sensor). As a standalone measuring device (i.e. without an external computer) measurements can be continuously done because all data can be stored with a maximum temporal resolution of 1s. Promo\u00ae can therefore measure and save data over weeks independently. For data transfer, the instrument can also be integrated into a company network.
