It measures cloud droplets and ice crystals in winter and dust and pollen in summer. The Palas\u00ae Cloud Droplet Analyzer measures particle size distribution and concentration with high resolution under real, changing atmospheric conditions. Based on the measurement principle of optical light scattering (90\u00b0) on single particles and high-resolution components, droplets and ice crystals can be distinguished.
