It is exclusively used to support financial institutions in granting loans at rates of no higher than 3.2 percent to the manufacturing and social service sectors, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and self-employed businesses for them to upgrade equipment. With a quota of over RMB200 billion, the facility carries an interest rate of 1.75 percent\u00a0and matures in one year, which could be rolled over twice, each time by one year.
