The success of the Palas\u00ae<\/sup> Promo Aerosol Particle size spectrometer is based on measurement methods developed at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), including the use of a white light source, 90\u00b0 scattered light detection and optically defined measurement volumes. Today, this technique is one of the very few optical measurement methods available that can accurately measure particle diameters and quantity concentrations at volume concentrations of up to 1,000,000 particles\/cm3<\/sup> without the use of dilution systems.<\/p>\n

The Optical Aerosol Spectrometer (OAS) is a scientific instrument designed in accordance with ISO 21501-1 and VDI 3867-4.
