In addition to requiring filtration performance tests in the range of 0.3 &#8211; 10 \u03bcm using A2 fine dust or A4 coarse dust, the standard also includes a requirement to test the classification efficiency of NaCl aerosols in the range of 50 &#8211; 500 nm for single-functional and multi-functional cabin air filters.<\/p>\n<p>Palas\u00ae has been developing aerosol technology for 40 years and offers instruments for the generation, treatment, measurement and analysis of aerosol particles. This system includes a U-SMPS 2050, an upstream and downstream alternating sampling system, FTControl filter efficiency testing software, and other accessories such as conductive rubber hoses. It generates reports based on the test results and retains all raw data for future reference. The U-SMPS 2050 has a measurement size distribution range of 8 nm to 1,200 nm, fully meeting the requirements of new standard. It can measure particle size and number concentration in real-time and allows for flexible selection of scan time, size range, and scan direction (upward or downward).
