{"id":5066,"date":"2020-08-07T03:24:58","date_gmt":"2020-08-07T03:24:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/palas-china.com.cn\/en\/?post_type=product&#038;p=5066"},"modified":"2025-01-20T12:30:10","modified_gmt":"2025-01-20T04:30:10","slug":"promo-3000","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/palas.com.cn\/en\/product\/promo-3000\/","title":{"rendered":"Promo\u00ae 3000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Promo<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>is a light-scattering aerosol spectrometer system for particle size analysis and concentration determination that can be equipped with all welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0sensors.<\/p>\n<p>On Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a03000, the welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0sensors equipped with different measurement volumes, as required, can be easily connected via fiber optic cables and interchanged as required. These sensors allow reliable measurement in the concentration range from &lt; 1 particle\/cm<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>up to 10<sup>6<\/sup>\u00a0particles\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0and are available for measurement in gases, as well as in liquids. Please observe the &#8220;welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0sensors&#8221; product data sheet.<\/p>\n<p>Unique are up to four measuring ranges in only one device:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.2 \u00b5m \u2013 10 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.3 \u00b5m \u2013 17 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.6 \u00b5m \u2013 40 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a02 \u00b5m \u2013 100 \u00b5m (additionally for sensors 2300 and 2500).<\/p>\n<p>Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a03000 is famous for up to 128 size channels per measuring range and a concentration range from &lt; 1 particle\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0to 10<sup>6<\/sup>\u00a0particles\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>A touch display ensures user-friendly operation. Measurements can be started easily, and all data, such as the current number distribution and the number concentration, as well as 24 further statistical values, can be evaluated and displayed in real time.<\/p>\n<p>With Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0as a standalone measuring device (i.e. without external computer) measurements are performed continuously. All incoming data can be stored with a maximum temporal resolution of 1 s. Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0can therefore measure and save data over weeks independently. For data transfer, Promo<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>can also be integrated into a company network.<\/p>\n<p>The Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0has a standard interface and can be controlled by a process control system or by a simple Labview program.<br \/>\nFor this reason, Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><b>\u00a0is especially well suited for control and monitoring applications<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Palas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0offers remote maintenance for the device and data access via www.palas.de\/user.<\/p>\n<p><b>The quality in detail:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>On Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a03000, two welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0sensors are supplied with one light source and the scattered light pulses are detected by a photomultiplier. This enables a quasi-simultaneous particle measurement at two sampling locations that are up to 100 meters apart.<\/p>\n<p>With Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a03000 the user effectively has two scattered-light spectrometers in one device with the same device characteristics with regard to:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Particle size resolution capability<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Particle size classification accuracy<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Counting efficiency<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Zero counting rate<\/p>\n<p>The various welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0sensors are characterized by a particularly good conformity of counting efficiency and particle size resolution (see product data sheet: welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0sensors&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>All welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a02000 series sensors can be used with the Promo<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>3000. The quasi-simultaneous particle size and particle quantitative determination offers particular advantages for characterising separators with fluctuating raw gas concentrations.<\/p>\n<p><b>Opto-mechanical switching<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Using opto-mechanical switching, the two sensors that are connected can be easily controlled. The sensors are controlled automatically with the software.<\/p>\n<p>The particular advantage over a manual measurement selector switch:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Faster change of the measurement location<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No deposits in sampling lines<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Long service life; no wear of the seals due to dust particles<\/p>\n<p><b>The Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0measurement technology:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0has a new, fast 20 MHz signal processing processor, which analyses the interference of each particle. This makes it possible to recognise coincidental events on the basis of the scattered light signal, i.e. more than one particle in the measurement volume at one time can be identified from the individual signal and corrected (according to Dr. Umhauer \/ Prof. Dr. Sachweh).<\/p>\n<p>This makes it possible to increase the maximum concentration limit up to 10<sup>6<\/sup>\u00a0p\/cm<sup>3\u00a0<\/sup>(welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a02070 sensor).
