These sensors allow reliable measurement in the concentration range from &lt; 1 particle\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0up to 5 \u2022 10<sup>5<\/sup>\u00a0particles\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>With Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a01000 particles sizes above 120 nm can be reliably measured, as the special high power xenon high pressure lamp with very high light intensity and the photomultiplier are directly integrated in the aerosol sensor.<\/p>\n<p>Unique are up to four measuring ranges in only one device:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.12 \u00b5m \u2013 3.5 \u00b5m (additionally in welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a01000 and Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a01000)<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.2 \u00b5m \u2013 10 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.3 \u00b5m \u2013 17 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.6 \u00b5m \u2013 40 \u00b5m.<\/p>\n<p>Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a01000 is famous for up to 128 size channels per measuring range and a concentration range from &lt; 1 particle\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0to 5 \u2022 10<sup>5<\/sup>\u00a0particles\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><b>The best size classification accuracy and the best size resolution are guaranteed by the following special features (see Graph 1):<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0White light and 90\u00b0 light-scattering detection<br \/>\n\u21d2<b>\u00a0Unambiguous calibration curve<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Patented T-aperture<br \/>\n\u21d2<b>\u00a0No border zone error<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0New digital individual signal processing<br \/>\n\u21d2\u00a0<b>Coincidence detection and correction of the individual signal making it possible to measure higher concentrations<\/b><\/p>\n<p>A touch display ensures user-friendly operation. Measurements can be started easily, and all data, such as the current number distribution and the number concentration, as well as 24 further statistical values, can be evaluated and displayed in real time. All incoming data can be stored with a max. temporal resolution of 1 s. For data transfer, Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0can also be integrated into a company network.<\/p>\n<p>Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>has a standard interface and can be controlled by a process control system or by a simple Labview program.\u00a0<b>The Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0measurement technology:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Promo<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0has a new, fast 20 MHz signal processing processor, which analyses the progression of each particle signal.<\/p>\n<p>This makes it possible to recognise coincidental events in light scattering measurement technology at the individual signal and correct them (according to Dr. Umhauer \/ Prof. Dr. Sachweh). This technology offers the best size resolution, the best classification accuracy and a low detection limit.<\/p>\n<p>The size of measurement volume is crucial for coincidence-free particle size and particle number measurement.<\/p>\n<p>With measurements in coincidence, the diameter is measured too large and the number too small.
