{"id":5142,"date":"2020-08-10T04:50:35","date_gmt":"2020-08-10T04:50:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/palas-china.com.cn\/en\/?post_type=product&#038;p=5142"},"modified":"2025-01-20T12:23:47","modified_gmt":"2025-01-20T04:23:47","slug":"welas-digital-3000","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/palas.com.cn\/en\/product\/welas-digital-3000\/","title":{"rendered":"welas\u00ae digital 3000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The\u00a0<b>welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital 3000<\/b>\u00a0is a flexible, powerful and economical light-scattering spectrometer system with two aerosol sensors, which determines particle concentration and size precisely and reliably.<\/p>\n<p>Unique are up to four measuring ranges in only one device:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.2 \u00b5m \u2013 10 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.3 \u00b5m \u2013 17 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a00.6 \u00b5m \u2013 40 \u00b5m<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a02 \u00b5m \u2013 100 \u00b5m (additionally for sensors 2300 and 2500).<\/p>\n<p>welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0digital 3000 is famous for up to 128 size channels per measuring range and a concentration range from &lt; 1 particle\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0to 10<sup>6<\/sup>\u00a0particles\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>On the new welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital 3000, two welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>sensors are supplied with one light source and the scattered light pulses are detected by a photomultiplier. This enables a quasi-simultaneous particle measurement at two sampling locations that are up to 100 meters apart.<\/p>\n<p><b>The quasi-simultaneous particle size and particle quantitative determination offers particular advantages for characterising separators with fluctuating raw gas concentrations.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>With the welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital 3000 the user effectively has two scattered-light spectrometers in one device with the same device characteristics:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Particle size resolution capability<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Particle size classification accuracy<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Counting efficiency<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Zero counting rate<\/p>\n<p>The various welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>sensors are characterized by a particularly good conformity of counting efficiency and particle size resolution (see data sheet: welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>sensors).<\/p>\n<p><b>Opto-mechanical switching<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Using opto-mechanical switching, the two sensors that are connected can be easily controlled. The sensors are controlled automatically with the software.<\/p>\n<p>The particular advantage over a manual measurement selector switch:<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Faster change of the measurement location<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0No deposits in sampling lines<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Long service life; no wear of the seals due to dust particles<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<b>welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital 3000<\/b>\u00a0is characterized by its optical fibre technology. The welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0sensor is connected via a fiber optic cable with a length up to 30 m with the welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital control unit.<\/p>\n<p>This leads to a minimization of particle losses in long sampling lines by simply installing the sensor directly at the sampling location.<\/p>\n<p>Connection via fiber-optic cable allows the welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>2000 and 2000 P series sensors to be easily connected to the control and evaluation unit and interchanged as required.<\/p>\n<p>The welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>sensors are equipped with different sized measurement volumes. This allows adaptation of the measuring device to the particle concentration present in the application, such that a high counting rate can be achieved with a short measuring time.<\/p>\n<p>The aerosol sensors allow reliable measurement in the concentration range from &lt; 1 particle\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>\u00a0up to 10<sup>6<\/sup>\u00a0particles\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital is based on scattered-light analysis on a single particle. With the new welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital, the special advantages of the well-known and internationally acclaimed welas<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0system are combined with new and fast digital individual signal processing and coincidence correction is enabled.<\/p>\n<p><b>The high size classification accuracy and the high size resolution are guaranteed by the following special feature (see Graph 1):<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0White light and 90\u00b0 light-scattering detection<b><br \/>\n\u21d2 Unambiguous calibration curve<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Patented T-aperture<br \/>\n<b>\u21d2 No border zone error<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"color: #008b57;\">\u2022<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0New digital individual signal processing<br \/>\n<b>\u21d2 Coincidence detection and correction of the individual signal making it possible to measure in higher concentrations<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The welas<\/b><sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup><b>digital measurement technology<\/b><\/p>\n<p>welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital offers a new, fast 20 MHz signal processing processor, which analyses the progression of each particle signal. The software allows particle measurements and calibration of the measurement device.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the measurements can be analyzed and compared in detail with a temporal resolution down to 10 ms.<\/p>\n<p><b>The welas<sup>\u00ae\u00a0<\/sup>digital filter test software FTControl<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The FTControl software is used to flexibly program defined switching times between the two sensors.
