BASF Automotive Parts Laboratory is equipped with the Palas® HMT 1000

BASF’s Automotive Parts Laboratory in Shanghai provides testing and experiments at the automotive component level, with a particular focus on powertrain and oil/gas separation. To improve its performance, BASF chose Palas® HMT 1000. By creating isothermal and isobaric test conditions, the HMT 1000 can effectively avoid large deviations between laboratory tests and actual operating conditions in terms of measurement mechanism. Based on the excellent correlation between quantitative distribution measurements and weight analysis, the light scattering particle size spectrometer used by Palas® ensures fast oil and gas separation tests. And the test stand can also provide particle size distribution data based on the volume of particles.
